The revision of the National EMS Education Standards is being led by the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), in collaboration with other organizations and members of the EMS community. The publication of the revised EMS Education Standards is anticipated in early 2021. The revision team will meet in early 2021 to finalize the final draft reflecting input received to date from the national EMS community and public. A group of EMS education experts is currently working to develop the new standards and have engaged with stakeholders across EMS and healthcare throughout the process, and three drafts have already been released for public comment.
